The Dominion Kindergarten curriculum focuses on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as being related to each other.
Each skill relates to one another. Dominion Elementary, including a full-day Kindergarten program, is geared to integrating and developing these skills in a manner that blends with future curriculum and classical education stages.
Learning objectives focus on physical, social, personal and cognitive development in an environment that encourages and fosters a love for God and for lifelong learning. The academic program includes hands-on learning and project-based learning, including making collections, displays, and models. Students work both independently as well as in collaboration with each other to explore the content before them.
Teachers mediate the students through new content, encouraging the student to reach beyond the curriculum. Students are further guided through the classical education processes of recitations, memorization, drills, and games.
