From Our Head of School

We respect that you make an investment when you choose to enroll your child in private education. We are excited that you are considering Dominion. We know that the reasons vary for choosing Dominion to teach your child the necessary skills for an ever-changing world.

Because we recognize the needs are different for the 21st century learner, we are continually evolving to not only meet those needs, but to exceed them so that your investment in your child's education results in the best opportunities for your child.

Our Goal

Our goal at Dominion Ridge Academy is education and formation.

We feel both are important in creating lifelong learners destined to make a difference in their personal lives and the world around them.

Elementary (K-5)

The Dominion Ridge Elementary curriculum focuses on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as being related to each other.

Each skill relates to one another. Dominion Ridge Elementary, including a full-day Kindergarten program, is geared to integrating and developing these skills in a manner that blends with future curriculum and classical education stages.

Learning objectives focus on physical, social, personal and cognitive development in an environment that encourages and fosters a love for God and for lifelong learning. The academic program includes hands-on learning and project-based learning, including making collections, displays, and models. Students work both independently as well as in collaboration with each other to explore the content before them.

Teachers mediate the students through new content, encouraging the student to reach beyond the curriculum. Students are further guided through the classical education processes of recitations, memorization, drills, and games.
